Life’s pace can be fast.
Whether it’s commuting to work, driving kids around, or involvement in jobs and obligations, the busyness of life can sometimes get the better of us.
When it does, it’s time to get away.
My family has a little place in Northern Minnesota that we refer to as “The Shack”. It’s a place with no running water, battery powered lights, bunk beds and a fire pit. We hunt there, play games, hike in the woods, dig clay out of the ground, fish nearby, let the dogs run free, sleep in, relax, regroup and reconnect.
Each time we leave The Shack we talk about how we wish we could stay longer and we plan our next trip. We talk about the previous hunting season, what deer we saw, where we walked, and the shots that were fired. We talk about the next hunting season and who will use which stand. The planning is definitely part of the fun.
The Outdoor Shack is about bringing the getaway right to your home by way of Hunting and Fishing Videos, Books, Baskets, Gifts, and a host of other products. Because there are times when you live in the fast pace.…but you look forward and plan for the next outdoor experience.
